Lately the oldest living former U.S. president Jimmy Carter although up to date, and knows everything about the current political stage, used to keep his voice low. Well, not anymore.
Jimmy Carter was interviewed by the NY Times columnist Maureen Down and in that interview the former President told what he was holding back for so long. First of all he told that in the 2016 presidential elections he voted for Bernie Sanders, criticizing the former President Barack Obama and his Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
The former president then went on about Obama’s unfulfilled promises when he first got into his office, and then after becoming a President he forgot about many of the promises.
After that the whole Russia-Trump connection was opened for conversation. The president Carter explained that there is no vital evidence that the Russians influenced the votes or the people that were voting.
“I don’t think there’s any evidence that what the Russians did changed enough votes, or any votes.”
